It seems my DIY Basil Kit came with not only soil, seeds and a container to house the lot of it - it also came with mold!
If you look closely, those little white things are seeds starting to spout covered with little white fuzzy mold. It kind of looks like maggots - my apologies for the grossness:

I'm not going to let this crush my dreams of growing herbs from seed, but I must admit it's a bit disheartening.
Any ideas on where to get non-moldy seeds?
